Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver purse of shaped form with reeded banded decoration, attached chain with finger ring and opening to reveal a material inner, hallmarked Birmingham 1912. Together with a second example of oblong form, hallmarked Birmingham 1917 and a late Victorian silver cigarette case hallmarked Birmingham 1896. (3).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. The lining to the first purse is heavily deteriorated and would require attention, some wear also to the leather interior of the second example with a tear to the central part. Both purses have initial engraving. The hallmarks a little rubbed but overall legible.
