An early twentieth century silver stamp case modelled as a book with pivoting compartment and Penny Red postage stamp, the stamp case suspended on beaded chain. Stamp case hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd, Birmingham 1915. Height of stamp case measuring 2.8 cm.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Penny Red has postal franking and appears worn. Chain appears unmarked, bolt ring stamped 925. Hallmarks to case clear and legible.
