A Victorian silver whistle of circular shell form with concentric fluting, hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co, London 1890, diameter measuring 3 cm. Together with an early twentieth century silver whistle, hallmarked Birmingham, possibly 1910, length measuring 3.5 cm. Gross weight 13.6 grams. (2).

Condition Report
The whistles display obvious wear and tear. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy pitting and dents. Suspension loops present to both. The hallmarks are rubbed, particularly to the second example and the date letter difficult to decipher.
