Lot Description

A German cigarette case of oblong form with engine turned decoration and gilt interior, marked to the lip with the Reichsmark of a crescent moon and crown and 925, length measuring 8 cm. Together with a 1930's small silver compact, hallmarked London 1937. (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette case does not hold closed, dints also visible to the corners, further initial (?) mark also present along side the marks mentioned in the description. Old make-up present to the interior of the compact, material lining holding make-up would require replacing, mount to the mirror is a little dented and personal date engraving to the inner bottom lip.
