An early nineteenth century tortoise shell dressing table box of oval form with white metal rim and applied crested panel to the lid. Length measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The bottom half of the box appears a little more dull. The engraving to the applied panel is rubbed. The lid is slightly oversized. The white metal rim and panel appear unhallmarked.
