Condition Report
The box displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible all over and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Some minor knocks to the frilled rim, especially at the corners. Slight loss of detail to raised surfaces of embossed decoration. Some deeper scratches and contact marks are visible to the underside. Hinges are in working order, however there is a slight gap remaining when the lid is closed. Some slight rubbing but hallmarks are still legible.
