A pair of Victorian silver sugar baskets of open work scroll form with initialled cartouche, blue glass liners, swing handles and raised on four scroll feet. Hallmarked Edward, Edward Junior, John & William Barnard, London 1843, numbered 675 and 677. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), gross silver weight 14.5 ozt (452 grams).

In very good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
The hallmarks are clear and legible. Appropriate part hallmarks to the handles. One slightly wobbles
One liner is possibly a replacement, as the two liners sit at slightly different levels, one also with a rounded bottom, the other flat.
