Lot Description

A Staffordshire type enamel wine label for Claret, hand painted with floral sprigs within a decorative pink border, with base metal suspension chain. Length of label measures 52 mm.

The label displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  General minor nicks in the enamel, especially around the edges.  The decoration and name are still quite clear and bright.  The base metal chain appears quite tarnished.
