Both items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some loss of detail to the decoration on the vesta case, especially around the edges, where there is more wear.  Also some small dints are visible, mainly to the corners.  Hinged lid is in working order.  Maker's mark is partly cut off but other marks are clear and legible.  The cigarette case displays various deeper scratches and marks.  More wear to edges and corners.  Hinges and clasp are in working order.  Hallmarks to the interior are clear and legible.
