Condition Report
The pot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. It is quite dull in appearance and there is heavier tarnishing to some areas, so it would benefit from a clean and polish. Deeper scratches and nicks are visible to some areas and some minor surface bumps. Some seam lines are also visible. A small piece has broken off the top of the handle, however we do still have this piece. Possible small repairs just under the rim. General contact wear and some file type marks to the underside of the foot rim. Hinged cover in working order, although it is quite loose. Some rubbing to hallmarks and part hallmarks on reverse of lid, but they are still legible. However the maker's mark is partly distorted.
