A pair of pedestal open salts, each of navette shape with twin loop handles, with oval foot on a rectangular base, unhallmarked. Maximum length including handles measures 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), gross combined weight 10.83 ozt (336.9 grams). (A.F).

Condition Report
The salts are in very poor condition and display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are solder repairs, splits in the metal and one of the loop handles has broken off. Both were once crested with fluted lower sections. However, these areas are now very worn and rubbed with considerable loss of detail. The interiors were once likely gilded, but again this has now worn. The salts are not hallmarked.
