Lot Description

An Edwardian cased silver condiment set comprising mustard pot, two open salts and pepper each of bulbous form with frilled rims, the mustard pot with blue glass liners, with two associated silver salt spoons. Condiment set hallmarked Charles Weale, Birmingham 1902/03. Gross silver weight 4.3 ozt (135 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Mustard pot lid does not sit flush. Associated 2 salts spoons hallmarked Charles Wilkes Birmingham 1905, third plated example also present. Hallmarks are clear and legible. Case displays some significant wear including tears and the lining has completely come away from the inner lid.
