Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver swing handle sugar basket, the body with horizontal piercing and blue glass liner, swing handle and raised on a circular footed base. Hallmarked Barker Brothers (Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker), Chester 1916. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), silver weight 2.7 ozt (86.6 grams).

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Slight knock to the base as the basket slightly wobbles. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partly removed/rubbed.
