Lot Description

A good Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono of a monkey trainer. Modelled in standing pose with a small child beside him, the trainer holding a hoop aloft for the monkey to jump through, the animal standing upon the trainer's head, red seal mark to base, 7.7", (19.5cm) high.
