Lot Description

Two Nuremberg style brass alms dishes, the first with convex field, repousse decorated with Coat of Arms (two lions flanking a shield with motto 'Sapere Aude' within boss decorated border, 14" (35.5cm) diameter, the second with single lion rampant, within stamped surround, border and rolled rim, 15.75" (40cm) diameter

Both circa 1900. Each has minor speckling/tarnishing including copper coloured spots, but no creases or holes. One bruise to 2nd at 1 o'clock but not too detrimental.
