An early 18th century-style walnut bracket clock by Elliott. Retailed by Parkhouse & Wyatt, Southampton, the 6.75-inch square brass dial having a silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing an engraved centre, within putto spandrels, the three-train movement chiming on gong rods, the traditional case with cast brass carry handle, caddy top and moulded cornice over moulded base and flattened bun feet, 11.25", (28.5cm) high excluding handle.
