A French porcelain easel clock. The shaped panel painted with a courting couple, she at a stable door, flanking a gilt cellular Roman dial, beneath palette-shaped aperture pierced with two gilt brushes, the panel 9.5" x 7.5", (24cn x 19cm), paper label verso with Patent number 19567, the timepiece movement now with vertically-mounted lever platform escapement, the rear cover stamped IE & C PARIS with number 19567, on a gilt metal easel, 17.25", (44cm) high overall.
