Lot Description

A good Victorian rosewood-cased twin fusee bracket clock.
"C. Pitt, Duke Street, Manchester Squ'e", circa 1860, the 6-inch silvered multi-lobed gothic arched Roman dial with foliage-engraved arch and cartouche signed as above, the wire-driven movement with shouldered plates, striking on a bell, the case with scroll-edged surmount over canted corners and stepped projecting base, 17", (43cm) high.
