A cast brass gothic style mantel clock and thermometer. The former of architectural design with cellular Arabic dial, the timepiece movement with vertically-mounted platform escapement, within quatrefoil-decorated case, 7.75", (19.5cm) high, the latter with brass Fahrenheit scale between niche figures on four paw feet, cast mark (twice) " PUBLISHED BY B. DAY DECEMBER 20TH 1828", 8.5", (21.5cm) high, (2).
