The 1.75-inch cellular Roman dial with white numerals on blue cabochons, framing enamelled medallion to centre, the movement with vertically-mounted platform escapement, stamped 'PARIS 1766', within compressed spherical surround beneath pierced cresting on shaped X-frame supports and platform extending as four scroll feet, 8.75", (22cm) high.
