An early 20th century oak longcase clock retailed by Maple of London. The 10.25-inch square brass Roman dial with subsidiary seconds dial over cartouche "Maple London" amidst foliate scrollwork, the 8-day weight-driven movement striking on a coiled gong, the case having a moulded cornice over barley twist columns and late 17th century style geometrically-moulded case, 74", (188cm) high.
