A George III brass 8-day longcase clock dial. (Henry) Fisher, Preston, circa 1770, the 13-inch square plate having a brass chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing an engraved centre with subsidiary seconds dial between foliate scrollwork over calendar crescent, all within scroll spandrels, the knopped four-pillar movement rack-striking on a bell, with seatboard (no case).
