A late Victorian walnut-cased 'Atmoscope' barometer. The 10-inch silvered circular dial reading from 28 to 31 inches of pressure with remarks, within carved cresting and ears over twin verniers, the glazed trunk with 'Admiral Fitzroy's Remarks' over exposed tubes, 46", (117cm) high.
