An early 19th century inlaid mahogany stick barometer
N. Tara, Lincoln, circa 1810, the named silvered plate centered by an exposed main tube flanked by an ethanol Fahrenheit thermometer, and a scale reading from 27 to 31 inches of pressure with remarks, beside vernier, the whole behind boxwood-strung glazed door, the conforming trunk with architectural broken pediment over turned cistern cover, 37.75", (95.5cm) high.
