Scotland, Ayrshire, Archery, silver-gilt engraved prize medal awarded 1849, “To commemorate meet given at Woodside House by Wm. Cochran Patrick Esqr of Ladyland 27th September 1849 Gained by John A.Macrae Esqr WS”, rev. “Presented by William Patrick Esqr of Roughwood to the County Archery & Rifle Club for Competition in Archery at elevated target and long range”, with elaborate  thistle border and scroll suspender, 62mm, hallmarked Glasgow 1847. Very fine.

William Cochran Patrick (formerly Patrick) of Woodside and Ladyland was father of RW Cochran Patrick, noted Scottish numismatist.
