Lot Description
A late Victorian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Of marquise-shape outline, the graduated circular-shape sapphire line, within a single-cut diamond surround, to the ridged shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1887. Weight 2.6gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has slight discolouration and very minor pitting, the hallmarks are very worn. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Two of the diamonds have small but noticeable chips.
