A mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 1ct, J-K colour, SI clarity. Weight 2.5gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Evidence of resizing. Diamond bright. Scattered light and dark inclusions visible under 10x magnification, and a significant nibble towards the girdle. Diamond in fair to good condition with some abrasion and nibbles to the girdle. Approximate dimensions of the diamond 6.79 by 6.61 by 3.56mms. Ring size M. Stamped Plat, 18ct.
