An early 20th century gold and platinum cat's-eye chrysoberyl and diamond brooch. The circular green cat's-eye chrysoberyl cabochon and old-cut diamond cluster, within a circular-shape openwork surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Diameter 2.5cms. Weight 4.5gms.

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The cat's-eye chrysoberyl is in good condition. There are areas of abrasion and wear to the diamonds visible with magnification. The settings appear quite worn. The back pin and catch is secure.
