A late 19th century gold and silver diamond crescent brooch. Designed as a series of graduated old-cut diamonds, with rose-cut diamond terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts, J-tinted colour, SI clarity. Length 4.9cms. Weight 4.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. There is one colourless paste replacement, there are a few areas of abrasion to the colourless paste. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. There are some more significant file marks in areas. The diamonds appear to be drawing colour, there are inclusions visible with magnification. Some settings appear quite worn. The back pin is bent.
