A mid 19th century 18ct gold painted Sikh procession brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the painting depicting a Sikh procession, with mother-of-pearl backing, to the filigree and rope-twist border. Length 5.2cms. Weight 24.2gms.

Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch and areas of discolouration, there are areas of significant discolouration to the back frame. The painted scene is in good condition. There are some scratches to the perpex cover. The back catch appears to have been replaced. The back pin is bent. The mother-of-pearl is in good condition.
