Lot Description
A pair of mid 20th century citrine and diamond clover stickpins. Each designed as an old-cut diamond, with a heart-shape citrine petal surround, to the textured stem. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Lengths 4.5cms. Weight 5.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches to the stickpins in keeping with overall wear. There is visible lead solder to the back pins. They both appear to have been altered possible from a larger piece, with the back pins added at a later date. One of the clovers has been set straight and the other is set slanted. The diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
There is a chip to one visible with magnification. The citrine are well matched, there is abrasion to the facet edges visible with magnification. There is significant tarnishing to the collets is the diamonds. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
