A mid 20th century gold ruby and diamond brooch. Of kite-shape outline, the vari-shape ruby and old-cut diamond letters spelling "Wien", to the old-cut diamond surround, may be worn as a pendant. Estimated total diamond weight 2.20cts. Length 5.2cms. Weight 13.3gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. The rubies are a deep moderately purplish red hue, with small, scattered inclusions. Minor abrasions.
