Lot Description
A late 19th century gold garnet floral bangle. of foliate design, the oval-shape garnet, within a vari-shape garnet surround with textured border, to the plain half-bangle. Inner diameter 5.3cms. Weight 11.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the bangle in keeping with the age of the piece, the bangle is dented and off shape in places. The garnets vary in colour, some are more pinkish and two have a purple body colour. There is abrasion to the facet edges visible with magnification, some settings are worn and may need to be secured. The hinge and clasp is secure. There is a small split to one side of the bangle.
