Lot Description

An early 20th century 12ct gold diamond and split pearl heart pendant. The old-cut diamond, within a split pearl heart-shape surround, to the split pearl surmount. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 2.1cms. Weight 2.5gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the pendant in keeping with the age of the piece. Some split pearls have a grey body colour others a more peach body colour, there are areas of abrasion visible to the nacre, specifically in the surmount. The diamond is bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.

There is water damage visible beneath the back perspex cover.
