Lot Description
An 18ct gold enamel novelty brooch. Designed as two blue enamel swallows atop a telephone pole, with white enamel transformers and green enamel and seed pearl ivy tendril detail. Import marks for Birmingham, 1964. Length 5.3cms. Weight 10.7gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The wires appear slightly bent, possibly by design. One of the birds is deficient the cabochon gem eyes. Minor enamel loss to the birds tails. One of the transformers has a crack to the enamel, possible repair to enamel. One of the leaves has a small hole. Minor losses to enamel on leaves. The seed pearls appear mostly replacement, glue visible. Stamped Italy, k18. The clasp grip is broken, clasp still works. Pin bent.
