Lot Description
A selection of early to mid 20th century gem-set jewellery. To include a split pearl horseshoe pendant, a garnet-topped-doublet and seed pearl wreath brooch, together with a sapphire and seed pearl bar brooch. Lengths 5.8 to 2cms. Weight 9.3gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Brooches stamped 14 and 14k. Chain surmount to pendant possible replacement. The split pearls are well matched, wear to some of the split pearl nacre layers. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphires are a well matched medium light slightly greyish blue hue. Minor-moderate abrasions, one with a small nick, one with noticeable surface reaching inclusions. The garnet-topped doublets show abrasion, chips and nicks. Seed pearls well matched.
