Overall condition good. There are scratches to the collets in keeping with the age of the piece. The diamonds are bright, they appear to be drawing some yellow, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.

The amethysts are in good condition, they are fairly well matched. There are typical inclusions and areas of patchy colour visible with the unaided eye. There are some slight areas of abrasion to the facet edges in places. There are some areas of alterations to the pendant in places, the top hook fitting appears to have been added/replaced at a later date. The clasp is secure. There are scratches to the case in keeping with overall wear. The box has been religned with more modern white velvet and satin. There are indentations for earrings. There are scuffs and scratches to the outer casinging of the box. Dimensions of central amethyst in necklace 17 by 14.5 by 8.65mms, dimensions of amethyst in clasp 11.6 by 10.1 by 6.8mms.
