A mid 20th century split pearl and ruby bird bar brooch. The two textured birds, with split pearl breasts and circular ruby cabochon eyes, atop a textured branch and plain bar. Length 5.5cms. Weight 7.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. One ruby cabochon eye is deficient and there is one split pearl deficient. The split pearls slightly vary in shade with visible blemishes in places. Stamped 9ct to bar. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
