A late Victorian 18ct gold diamond locket, circa 1880. Of oval-shape outline, the old-cut diamond to the raised rectangular-shape panel, with filigree terminal and border detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Length 5.6cms. Weight 37.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the locket in keeping with overall wear. There are two significant fractures beneath the table facet of the diamond visible with the unaided eye, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
There are some areas of discolouration to the detail and more significant scratches in places. There are some areas of discolouration to the inner rim. The locket opens and closes securely.
