Lot Description
A lapis lazuli, sapphire and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape lapis lazuli, within a circular-shape sapphire and split pearl openwork surround. Length 2.5cms. Weight 4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The lapis lazuli is in good condition, the stone is a possible replacement as all of the claws have broken off and there is gapping to the surround. The sapphires are opaque with significant inclusions, several are chipped and abraded. The split pearls are well matched. Several settings may need to be secured. The back pin and catch is secure.
