An early 20th century 15ct gold ruby and split pearl brooch. Of floral design, the circular-shape ruby and split pearl flower, within a split pearl openwork foliate surround with circular-shape ruby accents. Length 4.3cms. Weight 10.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 15ct. The bar brooch fitting is a replacement, slight discolouration. Most of the split pearl and ruby prongs are bent. Some of the split pearls are slightly discoloured. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a well matched deep purplish red hue. Minor abrasion. Typical inclusions including small surface reaching cavities.
