A gem-set blackamoor brooch. The carved wood bust, to the circular-shape emerald, brilliant-cut diamond and cultured pearl turban and dress. Italian marks of a winged lion, BCB monogram, Venezia. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Length 4.5cms. Weight 21.3gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 750. The diamonds appear bright, lively and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The emeralds are a well matched bluish green hue, significant typical inclusions including surface reaching features. The cultured pearls are well matched with noticeable surface blemishes. Chip to the nacre layers of the mabe pearl to the turban.
