Lot Description
An early 20th century 12ct gold multi-gem three-leaf clover brooch. The old-cut diamond, to the circular-shape demantoid garnet and split pearl heart-shape leaves, with curved stem. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 2.8cms. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The safety chain is a later replacement. The diamond appears bright, with no large obvious inclusions under 10x. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades within the mount. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The demantoid garnets are a medium vivid green through slightly bluish green hue. Minor abrasions. The seed pearls are well matched with a creamy hue and moderate rose and green overtones. Some cracks to the nacre, some possible replacements. General dirt and discolouration.
