Lot Description
A selection of five pairs of gem-set ear studs. To include a pair of 9ct gold carved jadeite ear studs, a pair of circular-shape blue zircon ear studs, together with three further pairs. The first with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1993. Diameters 1.2 to 0.6cm.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Jadeite untested for natural colour origin. Jadeite green with mottled white patches, typical structure, fairly good condition with some surface reaching fractures. Zircon pale blue, good clarity, fair condition with abrasion and nibbles. Malachite and dyed lapis lazuli in good condition with minor abrasion. Glue residue to the dyed lapis lazuli backs. Cultured pearls creamy yellow, with rose and greenish overtones. Fair skins with some surface blemishes, fairly good lustre. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. With fixed posts for pierced ears. Malachite ear studs stamped 375. Dyed lapis lazuli ear studs stamped 9K.
