A late Victorian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring, circa 1890. The oval-shape sapphire, to the old-cut diamond shoulders and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Weight 5.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. There are areas of significant wear to the sides of the ring where it has been worn alongside other rings. Inner personal inscription reads 'From A.V to A.M.E 1890'. There are areas of significant patchy colour to the sapphire visible with the unaided eye, there are some internal angular inclusions. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphire. The diamonds are bright, there are some inclusions visible with the unaided eye, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
