A late Victorian 18ct gold diamond snake ring. Designed as two coiled snakes, with old-cut diamond detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for London. 1896. Weight 13.2gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear and age. Acid stain and scratches and deep nick to inner band. The diamond detail is bright. One principal diamond is a modern round brilliant replacement. One diamond point eye deficient. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

The hallmarks are rubbed. Ring size T.
