Lot Description
A mid Victorian 15ct gold garnet and split pearl ring. Designed as three circular-shape garnets, within a split pearl surround, to the engraved band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1879. Weight 2.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The garnets are well matched with surface abrasion, one side garnet shows two large chips girdle. The split pearls all vary in colour, showing discoloration with some later replacements. One split pearl split.
Outer setting deficient to corner shoulder. Ring size P1/2.
