Lot Description
A gold plated keyless wind open face pocket watch signed Lanco, the white dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track with twenty-four hour divisions at five minute intervals, circular shaped case, fitted with a signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 43mm.

Lanco pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, evidence of dried oil and previous intervention, would benefit from a service, dial shows light discolouration and wear to the paint work, the hour and minute hands appear to be in a generally good condition, seconds hand has noticeable tarnishing and marks, glass appears free of scratches when viewed under an eyeglass, but there is a substance stuck to it between seven and eight o'clock, there are marks to the edge of the glass, especially noticeable around eight o'clock, case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear.
