Lot Description
A gilt silver Ermeto travel clock signed Movado, the rectangular shaped snakeskin covered case sliding open to reveal a silvered dial, hourly applied Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, case slides open to wind movement, inner case with import hallmarks for London 1929. Length when closed 48mm.

Condition Report
Movado travel clock, the movement is currently functioning, however we have been unable to access the movement so are unable to comment about the general condition, hands are tarnished with signs of surface rust, luminous paint has degraded and discoloured and is no longer present in the minute hand, the dial is lightly scratched with slight pitting, the edges appear slightly bent down, particularly to the left hand side, glass is marked with scuffs to the highest point, nicks to the edge, case is scratched and marked with score marks around the crown, snakeskin appears worn with the odd scale out of place.
