Lot Description
A base metal keyless wind open face centre seconds 'Goliath' 8 Days pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round case, fitted with a six jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement signed Octidi Watch Co. Case diameter 67mm. Together with a silver front travel case, engraving to the front, hallmarked Birmingham 1915. Case width 102mm.

Condition Report
Movement is currently functioning, there is evidence of dried oil sinks and signs of previous intervention, hands appear to be in a generally good condition with some light tarnishing to the boss, dial looks to be in similar condition, glass has a variety of light scratches when viewed under an eyeglass, there is a chip to eleven o'clock, case has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear, more noticeable marks are apparent to the case lip.
Case is worn from age and use, fold out stand looks to be usable but is degenerating, silver applied to front is tarnished and scratched with personal engraving to the top left corner.
